I am Andie Cobarruvias, a Texas-based, multi-disciplined event producer specializing in the strategy, planning, execution and design of live events. For the past fifteen years, I have been working as an event producer with clients from around the globe. My passion for events has led me to work on projects with some of the most recognized brands in the world including NBC, Warner Bros, Mashable, the Winter Olympics, the NFL, SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Festival, and the ABC Kite Festival.
I love helping businesses connect to their audience and tell their story, building personal relationships through interactive experiences. I see my relationship with clients as a truly collaborative one that’s built on mutual understanding and cooperation. I listen and learn. I assess needs and goals, and then I create a comprehensive plan.
In addition to event production, I have a passion for event and floral design. As a freelance designer, I had the pleasure of collaborating with many gifted designers including Bows and Arrows, The Byrd Collective, The Nouveau Romantics and Coby Neal. The style of each artist varies dramatically as do their clientele. Working with these artists provided me with a profound opportunity to sharpen my skills, technique, and find my voice while continuously learning and gaining inspiration. My work for many of these artists and as a solo designer has been published in online and print publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake and Love and Lavender.
Today consumers need to physically engage with products. Brands are in-turn responding with live, face-to face events for audiences to connect through thought-provoking, memorable, first-hand experiences. This is where word of mouth begins. I work with brands to create bold, original experiential programs such as festivals, concerts, corporate incentive programs, product launches, community and non-profit events with one goal in mind:
Create A Memory
People who undergo a live brand experience are likely to tell around 17 other people about that positive experience
. . . In fact, each of those 17 people is likely to tell about 1.5 other people which means that if 1 person experiences a live brand activation, a little more than25 other people will hear about it through word-of-mouth. Word-of-mouth is one of the most powerful advertising mediums out there because consumers trust people they know versus an ad they saw on TV, the internet or heard on the radio.
98% of users feel more inclined to purchase after attending an activation.
65% of consumers surveyed said live events helped them have a better understanding of a product or service, vastly surpassing digital efforts and TV advertising as methods of recognizing and learning about a brand.
74% of event attendees say that they have a more positive opinion about the company, brand, product or service being promoted after the event.
70% of users become regular customers after an experiential marketing event.
79% of US marketers generate sales using event marketing. (Statista)
According to 80% of attendants, live demonstrations and free samples significantly help define their purchasing decision. (EventTrack)
Events are constantly changing. In an industry where business can turn on a dime, brands need flexibility, and experienced talent. I believe that consistency of contact is essential and that's why I am always available for my clients. However, when it comes to a creative team, you shouldn’t be locked in to an existing staff.
I customize the talent, event by event, project by project, and ensure that each client is matched with the best team of experts for their particular needs.
I work with a cooperative of creative professionals at the top of their game, passionate about the projects and clients for which they work. With more than 55 years of collective experience in the experiential events business, I have built an impressive network of professionals from a range of disciplines, including:
